NH Juvenile Court Diversion Network Chair Nicole Rodler presented to the NH Police Chief’s Association at their October monthly meeting at Hampton Police Department. Previously unaware that there are no diversion programs available to youth in the North Country and other pockets of the state, the Chiefs were very receptive to the grant update provided along with the map of the state showing locations of current programs. Nicole, accompanied by Betsy Houde, handed out paper copies of the Police Chief Survey recently released by CHI to gather input from Chiefs about their perception of the efficacy of diversion. We look forward to learning more in the weeks ahead.
