The Juvenile Justice Reform Commission (JJRC) is New Hampshire’s federally required, Governor appointed state advisory group on Juvenile Justice. The JJRC is coordinated through the Division for Children Youth and Families. The mission of the JJRC is to redesign the Juvenile Justice System in a way that provides accountability without criminalization, offers alternatives to justice system involvement, provides an individualized approach based on the juvenile’s risk and need, while ensuring the safety of the community, and advising the Governor, the legislature and the community as to appropriate and effective Juvenile Justice policy and programming.
